'Tis the season to be penny pinching, laying off employees and canceling holiday parties. Conde Nast canceled its holiday party this year along with their Fashion Rocks and Movie Rocks events.This comes on the heels of Marc Jacobs canceling his infamous holiday party, the first time since it began 18 years ago. It seems to be in fashion canceling the holiday party because it's not only affecting fashion but most businesses. Hearst as well as News Corp a la FOX canceled their soirees as well.
