THE NEW TREND IN PEDICURES-FISH PEDICURES

If you're the type of person that wants to be ahead of the curve, we have the newest trend in pedicures. Fish pedicures. Yes, that's right. Cute, little fish nibbling on your toes to give you the pedicure you could never imagine. In Washington D.C., people are going to the Yvonne hair and nail salon to have garra rufa, the tiny fish, eat away their dead skin and callouses.
Your feet are in a bath of warm water while the toothless fish tickle and nibble on your toes and feet. The cost is $50 for 30 minutes or $35 for 15 minutes.  Just make sure you don't have a lead foot otherwise you'll be stomping on the fish that feeds on you.

ITALIAN VOGUE SELLS OUT AND MORE

Italian Vogue's July issue, "A Black Issue," sold out of its original run in both the US and UK within 72 hours. It's now in a quick reprint of 30,000 issues in the States, 20,000 in Italy and 10,000 in the UK. It's obvious that all the buzz and forward thinking contributed to the massive sell out of the issue. Let's hope that this spurs on other publications to do the same and continues to inspire Franca Sozzani to book all types of models in the future.

DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK

It's going to happen and it's happening as I post this comment. Cool, funky fun DISCO is making its way back into the scene.  Not the cheesy disco, but the fun, feel free disco is making its way back onto the dance floors.  Santos has a cool night every couple of weeks that plays fun disco as well as other venues. It's not the over the top disco but the soul disco that makes you want to dance all night long. Don't be shy and don't think too hard. Just dance!!!

DANCE! DANCE! DANCE! NEW YORK CITY! DANCE!

Is it true? Are New Yorkers getting ready to bust out and dance the night away?  Word in the clubs and bars is that Mayor Bloomberg is reconsidering that ancient cabaret law . Since 1926, the law has been no dancing allowed in any establishment that doesn't carry a cabaret license. The way the economy is nosediving, we all need the great diversion of letting loose on as many dance floors as possible.

NEW YORKER-GOES BEYOND SATIRE?

The New Yorker will be publishing this cover of their new issue. "They" say its a satirical look at the the relationship of Michelle and Barack. Is it really?  Or has it gone too far?
