Eminem came back last year and he's now reviving Dr . Dre with the beautifully eery vocals of Sklyar Grey in the second single I Need a Doctor from Dre's Kush.
Cherie Lily, fitness enthusiast and music guru, is hitting us hard with her Houserobics track, WERK. The song is inspired by the NYC Drag Vogue Balls and her mad love for fitness. There's a guest appearance of her right-hand man Andrew WK in the video as well.
Spring is on it's way and Summer is coming even faster so that means more incredible concerts on Governor's Island via the Governor's Ball. The inaugural won't have any overlapping sets coming from its two stages, giving us 12 hours of music. Some of the performers will be Girl Talk, Empire of the Sun, Pretty Lights, Big Boi (Outkast), Neon Indian, Miami Horror, a DJ set from Passion Pit plus more acts to be announced. We admit to posting many of the songs of Beth Ditto's EP Deconstruction. This is the woman and the music everyone needs to be focusing their attention towards in 2011. This song, I Wrote the Book, is by far the one song that can easily do well with the dance/pop genres, so let's hope the people give it go.
