Now that the 4th has passed us by, here comes Stephen Hawking telling us about the biggest fireworks of them all, the Large Hadron Collider. It's a big bang machine, 20 years in the making, created at Cern, a Geneva based laboratory for particle physics. That's a whole lot of science going on. Basically, they're trying to reenact the big bang theory. It's due to go off this summer, so be careful you don't get sucked into any black holes.
