Volkswagen has been teasing the car afficiandos since 2002 with their prototype of the 1-Liter. In 2010, they will be releasing this limited edition car which will get an amazing 282 MPG. Right now it has a 1-liter diesel engine but they're playing with the idea of having a 2-liter which will have the capabilities of being powered by algae-biodiesel.The speculative pricing is from about 20,000 to $30,000 Euros. Let's hope this will become available in the states as well.
